For more than 30 years, I have been creating art that celebrates the beauty of the natural world and the people who inhabit it. After earning my BFA in Commercial Art with an emphases in Illustration, I built my career in the U.S. Virgin Islands, where I spent two decades painting, designing, and doing murals for the National Park Service, businesses, and villa owners.
Today, I work from my studio in Boulder, Colorado, where my work has expanded to include three distinct, but connected facets. My large scale oil paintings are carefully crafted studio works that explore light, atmosphere and the relationship between people and place. My Colorado plein air work capture fleeting moments in the landscape, painted on location to wrangle the ever changing light and energy of each scene. And my murals transform public and private spaces with thoughtfully designed artwork that is both visually engaging and tailored to its environment.
I welcome commissions for original oil paintings and murals and enjoy collaborating with collectors, howeowners, businesses, and communities to create meaningful, lasting works of art.
